Nacra Nationals 2015

Congratulation's to the class winners in the Wangi Wangi National Titles.

Good Fleets in all classes and a well run event. Racing was close in all classes with most being decided in the last heat. In the F18 fleet we had 7 different winners in the first 7 heats.

With a total of 56 boats it is evident that Nacra fleet racing is alive and well. A large majority in the 5.8, 430, 350 and 4.5 fleet was family sailed boats, with many juniors. This places Nacra well for the future. 

Personally Team Goose Marine enjoyed the event, but didn't enjoy the travel this year. 3 full days in both directions. A total of 8,500 kms travelled by myselve, with boat in tow. Doing up to 1600 kms in a day and then swagging on the back of the ute. Reminder to self for next year, your getting too old for this, leave home earlier as you need time to recover.
